It was foggy, cool, and even raining at times, but the July 9 cookout at our church was still a special event members of our congregation shared with members of the Thornton Heights and Peoples United Methodist churches.

Thank you to all who stayed after worship for the combined fellowship and also thank you to all who participated in the planning, setting up, cleaning up, grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, and bringing an assortment of desserts and salads. Though it was all indoors, it was a joyful summer event.
