The symbol of our Reconciling Congregation is on display with a Pride Flag on the church sign at the parking lot entrance off Route 77 — for all to see. All are welcome!

After listening to comments and questions from church members, the Administrative Council in 2019 unanimously voted for our church to become a Reconciling Congregation.

The Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church is recognized by the GALIP Foundation, which is dedicated to bringing the reconciling message of God’s love to the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender communities”. GALIP stands for God’s Agape Love (put) Into Practice.
