Our church is sponsoring a special environmental event on Friday, October 7. There will be a pot luck supper prepared by church members featuring corn, squash, and beans, a practice developed by generations of indigenous tribes called the Three Sisters.
Following the supper, there will be the showing of the award-winning documentary film, “Common Ground”. The supper will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the film at approximately 6:15. A short discussion will follow the 90-minute film.
The event is free and the public is invited to attend the supper and/or film. Church members, please invite family and friends.
“Common Ground” explores how regenerative agriculture can help heal the soil, our health and the planet. The film exposes the interconnectedness of American farming policies, politics, and health.
Church members, if you are available to help with the supper, please contact Linda Greer.
