On Thursday, July 24, the Thornton Heights United Methodist Church hosted an Ice Cream Social for the newly formed Lighthouse Cooperative Parish. Members of the Peoples UMC, our church, and Thornton Heights attended the event on a perfect summer evening and the first time the three churches came together to meet each other since the Lighthouse Parish was formed three weeks ago.
