On February 15, our church will once again be hosting Jazz Sunday at its 10 a.m. service. This service, with Mardi Gras-style music on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday, has been a CEUMC tradition since 2009. Sadly, this will be the first time Jazz Sunday will take place without Stephen Bither, who passed away last spring. Stephen had first organized the gathering of local musicians 18 years ago.

Faith York, our music director, will lead this year’s Jazz Sunday in Stephen’s memory.

A buffet breakfast will follow the service. We are looking for volunteers to bring breakfast items to share. If you are willing, see Dotty Frey at church on Sunday for the sign-up sheet.

Please bring family and friends to Jazz Sunday, the final service before the beginning of Lent.
