UMW makes the season bright for shut-ins

At its monthly meeting on Dec. 8, the United Methodist Women of the Cape Elizabeth UMC took a collections of fruits, cookies and other holiday treats and made Christmas baskets for shut-ins in the Greater Portland area.

After everything was gathered, organized, arranged neatly on platters and wrapped in festive cellophane, the baskets were delivered to the homes of shut-ins connected to the church.
