Members of the CEUMC congregation traveled around Cape Elizabeth Sunday night, caroling at a number of homes.

Singing in the Christmas season

Sponsored by the church’s Couples Club, members of the Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church traveled through the snow on Sunday night, Dec. 20, delivering a collection of Christmas carols to homes throughout Cape Elizabeth.

“Silent Night,” “Joy to the World,” “Away in the Manager” and others were sung over and over while traveling from one end of the Cape to the other, ending at the Cape Elizabeth Retirement Home.

For both the participants and those on the receiving end of the caroling, it was a joyous way to begin Christmas week.
