Laura Young Connelly and Megan rake a trail in Robinson Woods as part of our church's Service Saturday project on Aug. 28.
Lending a hand
As part of our church’s continuing Service Saturday projects, a group of the congregation assisted members of the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust on Saturday, Aug. 8, to do trail work in Robinson Woods.
Clearing debris from the trails, trimming overhanging limbs, cutting and removing fallen trees and branches, and a general sprucing up were all part of the morning’s work on a beautiful Saturday.
Thank you to Laura Young Connelly, Bryan and Megan, Bob Morong, Rick and Jasper Fontana and Carol Hubbard, and Ruth for taking the time to make a difference for the people of Cape Elizabeth.
The next Service Saturday project is Saturday, Sept. 25 with Habitat for Humanity. A site is still to be determined.

Carol Hubbard and Jasper Fontana take a break from working on the Robinson Woods' trails.
