Super Bowl fund-raising

The United Methodist Women once again prepared Italian Sandwiches on Sunday, Feb. 5 for members of the congregation to enjoy during their Super Bowl celebrations.

Mary Anne Champeon, Kathie Hackett, Gloria Kierstead and Joanne Scontras had an assembly line of sandwiches going, long before the 8 a.m. service even began.

Kathie reported that the UMW made 55 sandwiches, 11 more than last year,  for its Super Bowl fund-raising event. Proceeds from the sandwich sales go toward helping children of our church to attend Camp Mechuwana during the summer.
