Lay leader Steve Hill, Rev. Ruth Morrison and Aaron French take part in the church accepting Aaron as its newest member.

New member for CEUMC congregation

As part of the Sunday morning service, Aaron French was received into membership at our church during a ceremony conducted by the Rev. Ruth Morrison and Lay leader Steve Hill.

Aaron is a recent graduate of the Bangor Theological Seminary and his thesis is on the Quran. He has worked in the Chaplancy Program at the Maine Medical Center and currently is working in a nursing capacity at MMC.

In addition to becoming a member of the church, Aaron is the new chairperson of the Church Council, replacing Laura Young Connelly, who had served in that position for the past four years.
