A new season for beans and more
The church’s first Public Supper of the season, held on Saturday, Oct. 5, was its annual Heirloom Supper, featuring dishes prepared with locally grown produce.
Event organizer Stephen Bither once again had everything running like a first-class dining experience, with plenty of casseroles, salads, beans, breads and pies for the large community gathering to select from.

The supper also was the first public event for which the new commercial dishwasher was used. The purchase of the dishwasher was part of last fall’s Capital Campaign.

It wouldn't be a church supper without plenty of beans.
The next Public Supper will be on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the church.
