Easter morning 2017

Finding new life

Keeping with tradition, members of the Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church began Easter morning with the Sunrise Service at Two Lights and followed it with the Sanctuary Service at 10 a.m.

In her final Easter sermon before retiring in June, the Rev. Ruth Morrison appropriately talked about letting go with what you are most familiar and trusting God to shape your lives.

The new life theme was also used during the Children’s Story with the miracle of how a butterfly emerges from a cocoon.

Thank you to Mark Braun for sharing these Easter images.
