Evening of fun, games, crafts and a film
The church’s First Friday of outreach to the community on Feb. 1 drew 21 people to participate in games, crafts, eating, and watching a family-friendly film.
The craft project was using metal stamps to create personalized bracelets and dog tag IDs. There was a lot of hammering and a lot of creativity, too.
This was the largest turnout for a First Friday since Gail Parker began the outreach mission last fall with the help of a grant from the United Methodist Foundation.
First Friday events are held at the church on the first Friday of each month from 5-8 p.m.. The public is invited.
