Mission Recognition honor to Deanne Burr

At the Sept. 22 service, Jean Meyer from our United Methodist Women presented Deanne Burr with the UMW’s 2019 Mission Recognition Award, honoring Deanne for her years of service as coordinator of the Family Promise mission, as an energetic Sunday School teacher, as a creative member of the UMW who leads special projects, and generally for helping out behind the scenes with so many church projects and initiatives including  volunteering at church suppers, the Jolly Snowman Christmas Fair and for spring clean-up days. Congratulations, Deanne, for the much deserved honor!
