E-giving now available on this web site
Our church’s Finance Team (Greg Wyman, Deb Wakefield, Jim Tammaro, Steve Hill and Joan Clinton) are excited to announce that our church has partnered with Vanco, an established Church e-Giving service provider, to make it easy and secure for you to donate on-line. If you prefer to continue mailing your pledge payments and contributions to the church, please continue doing so. If you need additional mail-in envelopes, please let us know.
The church is now set up to accept contributions and pledge payments to the church through this website. You can make a one-time donation as well as set up automatic recurring contributions. Use the “Donate” button on the upper right hand side of this page. If you are so inclined, you can test it out by making a contribution today.
There is an option to contribute to Special Sundays and at certain times of the year contributions to other special funds also will be available. Donations can be made by using a credit card, debit card, or directly from you bank account. Vanco charges the church transaction fees for your on-line donations as follows:
- $0.45 per transaction
- 1.00% for transactions from bank accounts
- 2.75% for credit cards or debit cards
- 3.5% for American Express
We appreciate your generous support while our Sunday services are online. E-giving will continue to be available when we resume in-person services. We would like to emphasize, that if on-line giving is not for you, continue giving in whatever way works best for you. On-line or e-giving is an added service to make things easier for those who prefer it. Most churches now offer it to their congregations and have seen their offerings increase.
Contact Joan Clinton through the church office, 207-799-8396, if you have questions, need more information, or need help getting set up. There are also Vanco YouTube videos you can watch.
Thank you again for supporting the Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church and the community we’ve all worked so hard to nurture.
On behalf of all of us and Pastor Priscilla, we appreciate your generous support at this time. With all of our contributions we’ve been able to share the message of our faith with one another and the larger community, giving people the strength and compassion needed to make it through these difficult times.
Faithfully,
Your Finance Team
Greg Wyman, Deb Wakefield, Jim Tammaro, Steve Hill, and Joan Clinton
