The Eco Team at The Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, in collaboration with Maine Audubon hosted a live webinar on Zoom on Thursday, April 29, entitled “Bringing Nature Home,” it explored the indigenous plants and practices involved in restoring native plants, food webs, and biodiversity in our gardens, yards, and communities in the Greater Portland area.  Led by Eric Topper, Maine Audubon’s Director of Education, the 1.5 hour workshop introduces beautiful native flowers, plants and shrubs that attract a multitude of birds, butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife.

This is the first in a series of webinars hosted by the Eco Team of The Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church that will focus on restoring ecological balance and mitigating climate change.
