Christmas Wreaths

On Wednesday, Dec. 1, our United Methodist Women prepared and decorated 50 Christmas wreaths for sale to the congregation and community. This has been a long-time Advent tradition for our UMW, even with the pandemic.

Throughout the evening the nine women, all wearing masks, worked at tables spread out through Fellowship Hall, attaching bows, pine cones, holly, ornaments, bells and other decorations to each wreath.

Jean Meyer arranged for all 50 of the wreaths to be delivered to the church and all 50 were sold in advance of them being decorated!

Members of the congregation and community picked up the wreaths at the church on Saturday, Dec. 4, at which time the UMW also held a Bake Sale as an additional fund-raiser for its missions. Thank you to everyone who baked cookies and other holiday treats for the sale.

Thank you to the UMW and its continued dedication for making our church a special place and thank you to everyone who purchased the 50 wreaths!
