Our church’s Outreach Ministry Team is sponsoring a Pet Photo Contest for church members’ favorite TOP dogs and FAB cats to benefit the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

Between May 8 and May 15, submit your pet’s photo by e-mailing it to capeelizabethumc@gmail.com or dorothea.frey@gmail.com. You also may hand a photo to any member of the Outreach Team (Lili Acheson, Margaret Braun, Dotty Frey, Gail Parker or Jean Meyer).

Photos will be displayed in the church from May 16-29. Check out our animal friends and cast your vote for the Top Dog or FAB Cat.

1 vote = 1 can of wet dog or cat food or tuna in water. (Preferred brands: Friskies, Fancy Feast, Purina Pro or Science Diet).

5 votes = 1 dog or cat toy or 1 bag of dog or cat treats (grain free).

10 votes = 1 bag of dog or cat dry food. (Preferred brands: Purina Pro or Science Diet).

If you prefer to make a cash donation, $1.00 = 1 vote.

The winning dog and cat or other pet will receive a pet gift basket. Winners will be announced in early June.

This is a busy time of year for the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Help us to do what we can to help their greatest needs.
