Women from our church and friends on Saturday, February 11, continued their month-long initiative to create beautiful dresses for young girls living in poverty as part of the international Dress-a-Girl Around the World mission.

Through three Saturday mornings and work at home, the women have finished 247 dresses so far this year! Since this project at the church began in 2016, the group has now completed 2,326 dresses.

They will work again next Saturday morning, February 18, from 9-noon, and then have the dresses blessed, boxed, and prepared for delivery to the regional Dress-a-Girl ambassador on February 25.

Completed dresses are on display in the church’s sanctuary.
