Easter activities

Eggs and Easter Bunnies

The church’s annual Easter Egg Hunt had some new wrinkles this year, thanks to the planning and organization of Shirley Maxwell Royall. On the day before Easter, a group of children from the congregation were treated to coloring eggs, painting a mural, cracking open a pinata, a variety of arts and crafts activities, and even interacting with a live Easter bunny.

The Easter bunny was actually a white rabbit named Snowy, who earlier had become part of the Connelly family. Katie, Megan and their father found him at a yard sale, offered by a family that discovered they were allergic to rabbits.

The yard sale find became a gift for our Easter celebrations.
