Julius Marullo of Power Sound of New England makes adjustments to the church's new sound system.
Listen and you will hear
This Sunday’s church services will be the debut of a new sound system in the sanctuary, installed during three days this past week by Power Sound of New England.
The purchase of the new sound system was part of last fall’s “Sharing God’s Love” capital campaign, which also included the purchase and installation of a new furnace and a commercial-grade dishwasher.

Church Trustees Duane Wakefield and Gail Parker learn about the new sound system from senior technician Julius Marullo.
The new sound system will make it much easier to hear all parts of services and special events, not only in the sanctuary, but also in the Narthex, kitchen, and day-care room. The Rev. Ruth Morrison tested the system on Thursday afternoon with her new wireless microphone headset.

The Rev. Ruth Morrison receives instructions on the use of her wireless microphone.
Part of the new sound system includes two hanging mini-microphones in front of the choir and a separate high fidelity microphone for soloists.

A variety of system settings can be adjusted in the choir room.
The system also has been connected to the projection unit behind the altar, providing quality sound for all projected presentations.
Please come and hear the new sound system this Sunday, but do so with a critical ear. This is still a work in progress and the trustees want your feedback and assessment of how well the system works.
