New beginnings

Come join us for Sunday worship and fellowship on Rally Day, Sept. 8 with the beginning of a new year of Sunday School and the return of the choir from its summer break.

To celebrate this special Sunday, a video will be shown during both the 8 and 10 a.m. services, featuring many of your summer gardens. A total of 27 gardens are included in the video, appropriately put to music by the “In the Garden” hymn.

This also will be the first Sunday to hear the choir with the new sound system that was installed in the sanctuary in August.

Sunday School will begin after the Children’s Story at the 10 o’clock service. The Fall curriculum will include the Bible stories of Deborah, Hannah, Samuel and David.

Following the 10 a.m. service, at approximately 11:30 a.m., will be a planning session for a new Youth Group in the Sunshine Room. Pizza will be served to help with the planning. All youth are invited, along with their friends.
