My Sister’s Keeper fundraisers

MSK.2C

Two special events planned

My Sister’s Keeper is holding two fund-raising events in November to help its ministry to provide mentors for women transitioning from incarceration to community. Please consider supporting one or both of these events — the My Sister’s Keeper ministry was started in our church by Myrna Cook.

The two fund-raising events:

  • Betty Jane Shreve and Margaret Braun are selling coupon books for $5 to be used at Bon-T0n, the new department store in the Maine Mall, where Filenes used to be.

These coupon books will give you more than 20 specialty coupons. in addition to a $10-off coupon. The coupons can be used at the store on Friday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 6 a.m.-11 p.m.

One-hundred percent of the $5 cost of these coupon books goes to My Sister’s Keeper. Betty Jane and Margaret will have sample books at church on Sundays.

  •  The Pampered Chef will hold a fund-raising event for My Sister’s Keeper on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the church from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The Pampered Chef will donate 15 percent of all sales to MSK.

The Pampered Chef offers everything for your kitchen and entertaining. For more information about their products, go to http:new.pamperedchef.com.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Kelly Dell’Aquila (mysister’skeeper@ceumc.org) or Amanda Doherty (PamperedChefAmandaD@gmail.com).
