Christmas cheer from UMW

Members of our United Methodist Women this week assembled 13 Christmas baskets filled with holiday treats and delivered them to shut-ins from around Cape Elizabeth and surrounding communities.

There were home made cookies, brownies, fudge, apples and oranges, Hershey kisses and Lindt chocolates.

Thank you to the dozen women who pumped up the holiday spirit for some of those who don’t have as much to look forward to during these final days before Christmas.

Take an hour or so during the next two weeks to visit someone you haven’t seen for a while and help spread the spirit of the season.
