Bringing the spirit to others
On an evening that felt more like early spring than a week before Christmas, 15 members of the church traveled to Scarborough’s Veterans’ Home and Cape Elizabeth’s Village Crossing for an evening of Christmas caroling.
It was a joyous evening for both singers and those who listened — even when some of the words weren’t remembered and the pitch was slightly off key.
Because of slush-covered side roads and rural driveways, the group wasn’t able to travel to some individual homes as in past years but instead spent more time at the Veterans Home and Village Crossing.
Pizza was shared by all back at the church afterward. Merry Christmas to all who participated.
