Complementing Dress a Girl mission
Our Sunday School on Feb. 10 decorated the sleeves of T-shirts that will be used to complement sleeveless dresses women from our church have been creating as part of the Dress a Girl Around the World mission.
Carol Hubbard’s Sunday School class cut designs out of paper, such as hearts and flowers, and then transferred the designs to the T-shirt sleeves with freezer paper and a hot iron. The designs were then colored with markers.
The T-shirts will be part of the collection of dresses the women of the church and friends have been creating since late January and will be sent out to girls living in poverty around the world. Through three Saturdays, the women have created 185 dresses.
Thank you to the Sunday School class for adding such a loving and creative element to the dresses.
