Holy Week services begin this Sunday, March 24, with Palm Sunday worship at 10 a.m. in our sanctuary. You are invited to stay after the service and help to create colorful butterflies to be on display for the Easter morning service.

Maundy Thursday worship will be held at Peoples United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m., 310 Broadway, South Portland.

Good Friday will begin with a guided Stations of the Cross at Thornton Heights United Methodist Church at noon. A self-guided Stations of the Cross will be open from 1-7 p.m. at Thornton Heights with guidance from CEUMC Pastor Kathleen Decker Szakas, Peoples Pastor Tom Frey, and Thornton Heights Pastor Gwyneth Arrison. Participants are encouraged to read the scripture passage John 19 before attending the Stations of the Cross. Thornton Heights is located at 100 Westbrook Street in South Portland.

An Easter Sunrise service will be held at the end of Two Lights Road in Cape Elizabeth at 6 a.m. The worship will be a gathering of members of the CEUMC, Thornton Heights, and Church of the Nazarene congregations.

Easter morning worship will be held at 10 a.m. in the CEUMC sanctuary.
